Joyful Fellowship @ CHURCH on the LORD's Day

Though it was a wet and rainy day, I rejoice on this LORD's Day, Sunday, a day of rest. Not only was it a day of rest, it was a time for worship and fellowship with fellow Christians at church. I lead in today's singspiration, singing 4 hymns:
(518) The Light of the World is Jesus (cross reference to John 8:12)

(548) Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling
(431) Moment by Moment

The message today was preached by Bro Fuli on THE GREAT COMMISSION OF EVANGELISM. Once again, the message strike the chords of my heart... it is my duty as a Christian to reach out and share the gospel with those around me, friends or foes and relatives. Reach out and SHINE for the LORD, just as Jesus Christ is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD and the LIGHT of my life. Times of sorrow and sadness may overwhelm me at times, but God has His plans for me. At the end of the day, I count my blessings... God has blessed me in many ways ... opportunities, friends, family and others bestowed on me. Truly, Jesus Christ never leaves me lonely, never forsakes me and carries me through the toughest times of my life.

Indeed, it is my hope to share the gospel with all around me, in whatever little ways I may touch their lives, be it in speech or in actions... let my life bring glory to the name of the LORD my God. My God who loves me always and guides me through life's pathways.

Perhaps, I may just be a little twinkling star or just a little light that shines in the dark, but may I be used to shine in the dark horizons for those around me. Pray that my dear friends and relatives will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour one day and enjoy the blessings of being a Christian, a child of God. Caring and sharing has always been a part of my life... even more so the good news of the gospel... to share it!

Thanks be to the LORD for the sisters in Christ who are co-workers with me in reorganising the Library Ministry at the Geylang Fisherman of Christ Fellowship Centre. We are all parts of the Body of Christ. Truly, it is vital that we work together in serving Christ. Doing all for God with the right heart attitude.... LOVE.
