Desperate for Answers

Early I awoke at 8a.m. to start my day. After breakfast, I accompanied my mother and baby nephew Abel to NTUC to purchase foodstuff for cooking and eating. Following that, I spent an hour of Quiet Time praying, reading and meditating on God's Word with reference to the Daily Bread.

Here's my sharing for the day:
Deutronomy 18: 9 - 14
* DESPERATE FOR ANSWERS
*AVOID WICKED CUSTOMS

*Deut. 18:9
"When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not follow the abomination of those nations."

*v. 13
"You shall be blameless before the LORD your God."

Personal takeaway from the readings:
1) Do not be tempted to consult ungodly sources for answers.
2) Stay away from mediums and those who contact the dead.
3) Be holy and set apart for the LORD to be a blessing to all nations.
4) Be faithful to God's covenant, not the words of soothsayers & psychics.
5) Trust the LORD with my life.
6) When I am desperate for information about my future, turn to the sovereign God of heaven.
7) God is the only One who holds the answers I seek. ---Marvin Williams

Through the footsteps of this day
Lead with equal understanding

*9) The what of our future is determined by the who of eternity.

I Will Never Walk Alone

Thank God for blessing me with friends who surround me. Thank God for my best buddy, Hua Chin who truly is a friend indeed... listens n cares. Grateful to have friends who go through thick and thin with me through the years...

All in all, I remember, I never walk alone. Jesus Christ is with me. God is my greatest and best comforter, guide, counsellor and FRIEND who carries me through both good and bad times. Friends come and go. I am thankful for friends whom I have, leaving footprints in my life. Above all, Jesus is my BEST FRIEND of all, carrying me through, leaving HIS FOOTPRINTS as part of my journey in life. In God, I trust, hope & love always. May I shine for the LORD my God in all I do.
