The Time Machine

Praise be to the LORD for this day He has given me. Rejoicing and giving thanks for all the blessings God has given me daily. As I read the BIBLE during my Quiet Time, the message for today in the Daily Bread is very apt and encourages me tremendously.
As I always care and share, so here's the sharing of my blessing as I start my day.

**Revelation 21:1 -4**

* 2 Peter 3: 8
"But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the LORD one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

What I have learnt:
1) I can be optimistic about the future because God will replace our world with a new one, i.e. new heaven & new earth --> Blessed fellowship with my Creator for eternity

2) Jesus is preparing a place for those who love Him.
* c.f. John 14: 1 -3
"...there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying"

3) If God has made this world so fair,
Where sin and death abound,
How beautiful beyond compare
Will paradise be found!

4) Jesus is preparing a place for us and preparing us for that place.

*Proverbs 3: 11- 26 *
*v.13
"Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding."

Wisdom = ways of pleasantness/ paths of peace/ tree of life

*v.21b - 26
"Keep sound wisdom and discretion; so they will be life to your soul
And grace to your neck.
Then you will walk safely in your way,
And your foot will not stumble.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
For the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught."

Yes! Indeed, the last verse says it all. Thank God for being my confidence. In God, I trust and have confidence! Hurray! What a comfort & great encouragement! Thanks be to the LORD! Looking to God daily and focusing on Him to walk in His path as He directs me into the future.

Be the LAST to CRITICIZE a friend who FAILS

Be sure where next step will fall, so that you will not stumble
Be sure of your final destination,
in case you are going the wrong way.

Be LOVING
to those who LOVE you

Be LOVING
to those who DO NOT LOVE you,
and they may CHANGE.

Above all, BE YOURSELF.
