My Passion To Teach

After listening to the song "THE CALL" from the soundtrack of Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, I was inspired to compose this new song to be a song about the passion I once had in teaching and still have. A song that expresses my emotions and tells of my story as a teacher. Hope this helps in encouraging, motivating and inspiring the Beginning Teachers, i.e. newbies, especially. A song with a more positive note... still fine-tuning. For now, I am sharing the lyrics that I have adapted from 'THE CALL' by Regina Spektor to suit my expression of thoughts and emotions.

PASSION TO TEACH

It started out as a dream
Which then grew into a passion
Which then turned into a reality
Of becoming a teacher

A teacher with great hopes and dreams
To make a difference
In the lives of the little children of the world

As a Shining Star
To lead them through the dark horizon
Shining as the light in the dark
For them to follow
To the path of discovery learning

To be the best that they can be

Always believing in the children I teach

Like the paper cranes that I give

As passionate learners

SHARING knowledge, resources and others

Now, everything's changing
It's never been this way before
I may leave teaching for now
All I know is that
I have made many friends here
Perhaps I have unwittingly made some foes by accident
Kindly forgive and forget
