Celebrating my 27th Birthday with my dear family, friends and 2Diligence children

Today is the day that God created me and brought me to earth through my mother's womb. Thank the Lord for the dear family, friends and children whom I teach to me.

God has a purpose for everything. Although I am still sick with bad flu, I thank the Lord for the life He has given me till this day. Early in the morning, I went to Geylang Polyclinic to see the doctor for my bad flu.

My God is the Great and Mighty God. It is by His grace that I have survived for the past 27 years of my life and have grown to be the fervent Christian lady that I am now. Praise be to the Lord my GOD!

In my times of need, He never fails me and loves me always. God always provide someone to come along and help and support me through the stormy days. He has blessed me with several sisters in Christ at my workplace, Tanjong Katong Primary who are ever encouraging and comforting me with God's words of wisdom and LOVE. My dear TKP sisters and old friends (whom I knew since NIE days) are like angels whom God sent to be here to cheer me on and up. I love my friends whom God has placed in my life. Ever thankful and grateful to have such fantastic loving, understanding and patient colleagues and old friends. My dear TKP sisters treated me to lunch at Ichiban Sushi and gave me a sports sling bag for my Birthday. I was elated to receive the present as it was in my wish list and it was of the right size and colour of blue which I love.

In the evening time, my old friends came to my new house at Upper Boon Keng Road to celebrate my birthday with me. We waited for all to arrive before going to Sha Tin Kitchen to eat dinner together. They also treated me to dinner. 2 of my friends, Xinyi and Junkang had to leave early as they had to go to school on Saturday to work. The rest of my friends went to my new home again to chit chat and eat the birthday cake that was given by my sweet little girl from 2Diligence, Ashna. I was especially touched by their gesture of singing birthday song at mid-night 12 a.m. sharp as I turned 27 officially. Before my dear friends went home, I gave them a hug each in appreciation of their effort to come to celebrate my birthday despite their busy schedules as school teachers too. A friend in need, is a friend indeed. This group of friends whom I got to know since my first year in NIE are truly my best pals. They are always ready to lend me a listening ear and comfort me with encouraging words. Thank God for sending them into my life. :D

Thank God for everything He has given and blessed me. May God bless me with a speedy recovery from my flu. May there be LOVE, PEACE and HARMONY among my family, friends and pupils.
