In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

As a Christian, my purpose is to be the Light of the world, like Jesus Christ.
My sole purpose in life is to SHINE for the LORD as a Christian.

May God direct me in his paths and show me how to SHINE for Him. Indeed, when I am weak, He is strong. His grace is sufficient for me.

Always bearing in mind the following verses from the BIBLE as I turn my eyes upon the LORD, recognising that He is my ALL IN ALL.

Philippians 3: 13- 14
Brethen, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

BEDTIME PRAYER
Philippians 4: 6, 7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Indeed, it is a timely reminder for me to GUARD MY HEART AND MIND. Reminded to just forget the past and move on ahead. God has planned the path for me. Burn every bridge behind me and just keep going forward for the LORD.
