Lovely Time with sis Jocelyn

Today, I spent a lovely afternoon with sis Jocelyn. While waiting for her to arrive at Bugis, I went to the Central National Library to read books on PHOTOGRAPHY to enhance my photo techniques/ compositions for my Taiwan holiday trip (9th to 15th June). Great time reading till sis Jocelyn rang to announce her arrival at the bus stop in front of Parco Bugis Junction.

I loved the time spent with this dear sister in Christ of mine. My xiao mei. She was so sweet as to have handmade a frame specially for me, researching even the meaning of my name 'Monica - the Advisor'.

Hmmm... wonder if I had been a good advisor to her thus far. Just a thought to chew on... What great sweetness to have such heart & effort put in to make such a customised frame for me. Sweetness of our friendship & fellowship.

Heehee. Together, we took a neoprint at the neoprint shop located on Level 4. Taking neoprint was something I had not done in ages. The card neoprints were so pretty that I decided that we should laminate it to make it last longer. Simply love taking photographs with dear sis Jocelyn. Pretty pretty... hahahaha.. mei mei. We are mei nu.

Following that, we went to TCC to drink coffee and eat desserts. Yummy tiramisu, dark devotion & azuki coffee.

Heehee... interesting chats... our topics of talk were all over... everything under the sky. Hohoho... so funny... I am certainly very tickled when chatting with this xiao mei of mine. Without a doubt, she's my lovely angel & kai xin guo. Always cheered up by her somehow... tis gal has an infectious smile/ laughter & sweet demeanour.

After our tea-time, we went to Popular bookshop @ Bras Brasah Complex. As I had to be home for dinner, I could not stay long to accompany her. What a pity.... but nevermind, when I return from my trip, can go out longer with her then to chill out. Hahaha...

Well, but in my rush, I was rather blur as to run to the wrong bus stop in the rain. In the end, I had to wait for the rain to be less heavy before I could dash to the right bus stop to take bus home. An idiom comes to mind as a lesson learnt today, "More haste, less speed". How true of it... the more we rush things, the worst it turns out. Hmmm... just have to keep cool and be more steady.

Back home, I enjoyed family time. Ate my sumptous dinner and watched television programmes... that's life during holidays. Hahaha... meanwhile rest & relax.

Yeah... I am so excited... looking forward to my trip to Taiwan with my best friend, Hua Chin along with 2 of her volunteer group friends. I shall go enjoy myself there ... eat & shop to my heart's content... mai tong xi, chi tong xi... hoho. You may just see me coming back rounder than before...

Taiwan, here I come ...
Till then, look out for my updated photos of Taiwan upon my return. Pray for my safe return.
