Take a Break, Cheer up & FIGHT THE BATTLE AHEAD...

Basic needs must be satisfied according to MASLOW'S HIERARCHY. Hence, after a long and tiring day, I went to Parco Bugis Junction with sis Jocelyn to REST & RELAX. We have been working hard. She has been doing a lot of hard work in my absence, covering my classes and workload that I left. Fantastic job done thus far... I am elated to have her with me. What a joy and comfort to my poor weak mind-body-soul. Heehee.
We shopped and I bought new dress and mini-jacket. Haha.... because next week is my BIRTHDAY on 10th MAY.... THURSDAY. I like buying things to give myself. Self-comfort. Haha. Sayang myself. My sis Jo gave me her great comments too before I made up my mind to just buy those 2 pieces of clothes. Be wearing the dress on my birthday. I might be wearing the jacket on Monday.

In gratitude for her hard work that she put in throughout the past 5 weeks that she has been with me in this school, I treated her to dinner at Barnsbury. Heehee... we share a common faith and have lots of things that we can talk about... hahaha... we are women afterall... I click well with her so far. That's how I feel about our friendship thus far. Enjoyed the time of sharing and chatting... heehee... nevermind the age gap.

After dinner, I decided to go for a haircut at CHAPTER 2, recommended by sis Jo. So, here's my new look. I will be styling it before going to church on Sunday and then to school from Monday onwards. Heehee, I love my new look... DARE TO DREAM and JUST DO IT look. Hahaha. Learning to take time off to take a break, cheer up and continue to run the race for my LORD. Okie, it is time to sleep and recharge. Tomorrow, I will get ready to mark, mark, mark.... become a marking machine tomorrow. Oh well.... that's the life of a teacher in Singapore... especially during examinations time, I get more stressed than the children themselves who are sitting for the examinations. Praying to God to take care of them all. GOD BLESS!
