LET GO, LET GOD

Truly, the Word of God comforts and encourages me in my times of weakness and brokenness. How weak and weary is my mind-body-soul. How the LORD encourages and strengthens me with his WORD... the BIBLE... the Scriptures.

Thanking God for each and every day. Day by day, I live my life for my dear LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thanks be to the LORD for his grace and mercies for each new day. Thank God for slowly restoring and renewing me.

Perhaps, at this point in time, many may misunderstand me and wonder why am I taking such a long Medical Leave away from school. Perhaps, there are some who think that I am irresponsible. I would refute this point for many know my character. I have been one hardworking fellow... so much so that I have been stressed out and burnt-out.

Well, nonetheless, I have GOD, family, brothers and sisters in Christ, dear friends and colleagues who have been supportive of me. Thankful for the school management, the Principal and Vice-Principal who are ever-encouraging and supportive. I am glad to be in this TKP family though I have weathered through storms, they are there to support. Thankful for them helping to make arrangements for my duties to be covered as well as granting me the peace of mind to rest throughout my long Medical Leave.

Thanking God for sending lovely angels like Serene and Hui Ming who sent me to the hospital when I was in great pain. I am especially thankful to Jocelyn, my lovely sister in Christ who have been ever encouraging, honest, trustworthy and considerate to me in my times of weakness. Thank you my dear family, brothers and sisters in Christ and friends. Loving all of you always. I will strive to rest to recover fast to get back on my feet again.

Remember the time during the Team-building workshop last year 28th December, how I may have sat on a broken pole and fallen over during the Sedan race. I wil never give up and stop. I will hang on for my GOD and all my loved ones till I finish the race I need to run. Oh yes! Praise be to the LORD! Let's keep praying for one another... BE PRAYER WARRIORS! Hugzs...

Sharings from my BIBLE readings during my moments of QUIET TIME...

The Priestly Blessing

NUMBERS 6:24 - 26

v.24 "The LORD bless you and keep you;
v.25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
v.26 the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."

The Resurrection of Christ

1 CORINTHIANS 15

v.1 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
v.2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

v.3 For what I received, I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, v.4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, v.5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.
v.6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some may have fallen asleep.
v.7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, v.8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

v.9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
v.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
v.11 Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

v.33 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."
v.34 Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God - I say this to your shame.

THE RESURRECTION BODY

v.35 But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?"
v.36 How foolisth! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
v.37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else.
v.38 But God gives it a body as he determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.
v.39 All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another.
v.40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendour of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendour of the earthly bodies is another.
v.41 The sun has one kind of splendour, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendour.

v.42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; v.43 it is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; v.44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
v.45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
v.46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
v.47 The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.
v.48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
v.49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.

v.53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
v.54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true:
"Death has been swallowed up in victory."

v.55 "Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"

v.56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
v.57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

v.58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you.
Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.

1 CORIINTHIANS 16:13 - 14

v.13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

v.14 Do everything in love.
