A Day Wisely Spent

Today was a day well spent. Thanks be to the LORD my GOD!
Started the day at 6.30a.m. reading my N.I.V. BIBLE, that is GOD'S WORD. Great reading of Mark 3 & 4. Enjoyed doing my QUIET TIME (QT) and highlighted key learning points from Mark 4 that talks about the following: The Parable of the Sower, A Lamp on a Stand, The Parable of the Growing Seed, The Parable of the Mustard Seed, Jesus Calms the Storm.

I particularly love this phrase "Quiet! Be still!" For short, I can call it QBS. Heehee... a fantastic phrase that I can use to the little children whom I teach in school. Hahaha... you should be able to guess what's the reason behind me saying this. Well, that's life of a teacher like me... always on the lookout for great phrases to use.
Around 8a.m., I went to the market with my Dad to eat breakfast ("breakie" in my words). We had wanton mee and yong tau foo. Cheap and good food. Always SPEND WISELY!

Next, we rode on my Dad's blue motorbike to East Coast Park for a morning walk. We walked around Bedok Jetty, watching people who were fishing there. We had 2 cans of 100 Plus drinks before proceeding to

walk to the sand castle beach area in AREA E, near to BBQ pit 51.

My Dad went to check out the Family Corner shop, while I strolled along the shoreline to do my favourite activity, taking photographs of the coastal view and anything else in sight with my Sony Ericsson W800i cameraphone. Great time spent.

Around 10 a.m., my Dad sent me to school. Joyfully, I walked to my classroom to sit there to do my marking of Science Workbooks (Sci 4A WB). Finished marking the Review MCQs for Chpt 4-5. Yeah! Cheerios for myself... hahaha.

I also took a break by replanting my class plants contributed by my pupils a.k.a. my children. We have 3 class plants, 2 aloe veras, cactus and 1 mini-plant.
Heehee... great sense of achievement... certainly hope the plants grow well under my tender-loving care, just like how I take care of everyone around me.

Last but not least, I tidied up my classroom and placed a new blue table cloth on my table at the back of the classroom. That's where I sit at certain times of the day for lessons/ sharing/ lecturing/ meeting with kids sessions. It is the area right next to my TIME OUT corner, 'I AM SORRY' poster area.

Back at home, I took my lunch and had my afternoon nap. Time to recharge.
REST & RELAX because it is SATURDAY. Following that, I uploaded the photographs that I took for the day at ECP. Soon, it was dinner time at 5.30p.m.

Once I finished eating, I changed clothes and went out for coffee with my sister in Christ, Delina to Singapore Post Centre. We had a good time of sharing, although most of the time it was me talking... heehee... apologies... I know how long winded I can get. Even sang my song BE CONSIDERATE to her.

Hehehe... coz it's my happy tune... and latest song. HAHAHA. Took more photographs, for that's my hobby.

Lastly, I went to POPULAR bookshop and HOME AND OFFICE PRODUCTS to purchase stationary for my use. Heehee... my favourite colour pens... especially turquoise. I also bought a pack of strawberries from NTUC. HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. Enjoyed my time with sis Delina there at Post Centre. Being thrifty, we took a bus home together.
Right now, I am updating my blog for the purpose of sharing my joyful moments. Rediscovering the JOY in my life. Thank God for easing my pain my neck, shoulder and back for the day. Nevertheless, the pain is still there, especially stiffness in my neck that causes my migraine.

I pray that I learn to WAIT UPON THE LORD JESUS and HOPE in the LORD. Slow I may be like a tortoise, but SLOW & STEADY I will run this race of LIFE. I want to be the STAR that SHINES for the Lord, guiding the little ones in the RIGHTEOUS ways. May God bless all who shares the same aspirations and dreams as me.
