LOVE

As always, I love to share the good things that I am reading and learning. The following are BIBLE verses about LOVE. Indeed, it is great encouragement for me as a teacher to LOVE everyone around me, be they good or bad to me... abiding in the LOVE OF GOD. This is my personal belief as a Christian, I love because GOD first loved me. This is how I sustain my passion in teaching.

LOVE

Romans 12: 9 - 21

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Love, for the Day is Near

Romans 13:8

Let no debt be outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

Romans 13: 9 -10

... and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbour as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbour. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Romans 13: 12

The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.

Hope you will be encouraged and take heart to keep going on in this life journey. Forget what lies behind and move on to what is ahead towards the finishing line where our journey will end.

Be sure where next step will fall, so that you will not stumble
Be sure of your final destination,
in case you are going the wrong way.

Be LOVING
to those who LOVE you

Be LOVING
to those who DO NOT LOVE you,
and they may CHANGE.

Above all, BE YOURSELF.
